MATES IN CONSTRUCTION NT:
We are proud to be an industry partner of Mates in Construction NT. The organisation works hard to educate construction workers to reduce the rates of suicide in our industry.
Every year 190 Australian’s working in the construction industry take their own lives; this means we lose a construction worker every second day to suicide.
Construction workers are six times more likely to die from suicide than an accident at work. We take these statistics seriously. As such we have provided General Awareness Training for all our staff through Mates in Construction, and will provide further training opportunities for them via the Connector and Assist courses.
ALICE SPRINGS ATHLETICS CLUB/DESERT SPORTS FOUNDATION
We are passionate about supporting organisations that help our future generations thrive. We believe sports is one of the best ways to do this for our young people. As such, Harvey Developments NT is proud to get behind these two great sporting organisations in Alice Springs by providing funding to help assist in the purchase of sporting equipment, training coaches and lessen the burden of travel costs for aspiring athletes to attend competitions outside of Alice Springs.
GAP VIEW CRICKET CLUB
Our company is involved with Gap View Cricket Club on a personal level, through staff and their families playing at the club, and also by way of sponsorship. This year we have put up a financial contribution to purchase team uniforms so the players can concentrate on the important things in their game.
